The first Meeting of the RENEW SCHOOL project  is held in Graz, Austria, 8. and 9. of May  2014.

The project team held their first meeting led by AEE INTEC the Coordinator. The participating members are two Austrian, one German, two Belgian, one Sweden, one Norwegian, one Danish, one Poland, one Slovenian and three Italian organizations.

The RENEW SCHOOL project is being funded by the European Commission’s ‘Intelligent Energy Europe Programme’ and has a planned duration of three years.

Primary focus of the project is to at retrofitting a great amount of school buildings to highest nearly zero energy buildings (nZEB) standards, by promoting appropriate tools and measures, help to downsize the energy use significantly, and create and secure comfortable conditions for the pupils and teachers.

Having successfully concluded the business of the first meeting then, a study tour is organized to example of Energy Rennovations Projects and to production facilities of the well known Austrian building company.

The next Consortium Meeting with Technical talks and frontrunner presentation will be held in Oslo, Norway on 21. - 23. of October 2014.
